Empowering Youth Through Basketball

Cardiff City Basketball Club is a community initiative dedicated to promoting basketball among young people, offering grassroots and elite sporting activities for all ages.

A vibrant outdoor basketball court filled with people of various ages engaged in different activities. Some are playing basketball while others are standing and chatting. The court is surrounded by brightly painted walls in shades of pink, orange, and blue. A basketball hoop is mounted on the back wall, adding to the sports theme. A few people are sitting on stairs or using phones, creating a relaxed and social atmosphere.

As Wales' only independent Men & Women's club competing at National level we focus on developing talent from junior through to senior with the focus on learning skills at an elite level. We proudly compete with multiple programmes across the UK, achieving championships and titles at both national and local levels.

Youth Basketball Programs

Engaging young players through grassroots initiatives and competitive teams for all ages. Currently we have a u14 & u16 local league teams, perfect for beginners and intermediate alike.

Elite Competition Teams

Competing at National League is the natural next step for players looking to advance their skills & experience. Our Mens, Womens and Junior programmes all focus towards building the elite athletes for tomorrows professional game. We have had dozens of players represent their countries, move off to basketball academies and play professionally both here domestically and across the world.
